The Judicial Conference of the United States approved a $50.00 general administrative fee for filing a civil action, suit, or proceeding in a district court. Effective May 1, 2013, the administrative fee is in addition to the $350.00 filing fee and applies to all civil cases except where the court has allowed a person to proceed in forma pauperis under 28 U.S.C. § 1915.
